Be prepared to pay extra for that next season of Bridgerton: Netflix is increasing its prices once again, including an increase for its Standard With Ads plan, which will leap $1 a month from $7.99 to $8.99. Should you desire to subscribe to Netflix’s Premium plan, which includes Ultra HD and HDR streaming plus the ability to stream to four devices at once, you’ll be paying an extra $2 a month, from $24.99 to $26.99.
The updated pricing will go into effect for new Netflix customers beginning March 26th; per Variety, “existing members will be notified by email a month before the new prices are applied to them, with the timing depending on the individual member’s billing cycle.”
Netflix previously increased its prices in January 2025. But it’s not exactly like the company is hurting for cash: By bowing out of the battle to own Warner Bros. Discovery, the streamer is set to receive a $2.8 billion payout from Paramount Skydance.
