On July 6, 2020, Charlie Daniels passed away after suffering a hemorrhagic stroke. On July 4, 2026, a hologram of the Southern rock and country musician will perform at a military base for America's 250th birthday.
According to Christian County Now, the plans for this year's Fourth of July Celebration at Fort Campbell were announced today outside of the Tennessee Wings Of Liberty Museum. Charlie Daniels Jr. spoke at the press conference, saying, "This show is kind of a dream come true for me." The hologram was created by 8 Track Entertainment, who worked closely with the family.
The event will also have performances from Aaron Tippin, Eric Lee Beddingfield, and the 101st Airborne Division Band. Drew Tutton with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, who is sponsoring the event, said, "We believed Charlie's music needed to come back alive based on where the country is at, and driving back the American values and how God’s made such an impact on this country."
