Last year, Dua Lipa was busy touring 2024's Radical Optimism and bringing out guests like Charli XCX and Ben Gibbard in addition to performing covers like Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing Compares 2 U" and Daft Punk's "Get Lucky." Now, the British singer is getting ready to focus on acting again, as she's joined the cast for Molly Gordon's new movie Peaked.
Peaked will come out through A24, and the synopsis says the film "follows the two girls who traumatized you in high school as they try to relive their glory days at their 10-year reunion." Lipa will star alongside Connor Storrie, Emma Mackey, Laura Dern, Simone Ashley, Levon Hawke, Mitra Jouhari, Gabby Windey, Amy Sedaris, Owen Thiele, Jaya Harper, Emil Wakim, and Alex Consani.
Lipa last acted in Matthew Vaughn's 2024 action-comedy Argylle, and before that she made her cinematic debut with Greta Gerwig's massive Barbie.
