Speak Softly, Son will be Little Grandad's first full-length release, following their formation just a year ago. Their combine Americana, slacker-rock, and British indie guitar rock, making them a rising staple across London's live music circuit. New single "Tiny Feet" arrives the latest preview of the collection of songs, following previous singles "Babe, We've Run Out Of Time", "Sleepwalking", and "Unmasked". Little Grandad first came together when brothers Jack and Harry Lower found themselves back home after university. At the time, Harry had been writing songs about "real London people, real London things," taking inspiration from everything he saw and read. Despite their initial differences, they slowly came together, sharing vocals on songs that Harry was still writing. With Jack on bass and vocals and Harry on guitar and vocals, expanding to add Ned Ashcroft on guitar and trumpet and Jimmy Brennan on drums. The band are currently set to head out on a UK headline tour this week, kicking off with a sold-out show at The Croft in Bristol tonight, followed by an eight date run including London's Scala on 16 September.
