You’re a Fly on the Wall in Phoebe Bridgers’ New Video for “I Can’t Wait”: Watch

Phoebe Bridgers has unveiled the music video for “I Can’t Wait,” a track that appears on her brand new album Lost Weekend. Directed by Pablo Rochat and Chris Maggio, the visual takes on the perspective of a fly on the wall — literally. The camera mimics the quick, nervy movement of a house fly, buzzing about, landing on people’s faces, following the light, sneaking into the body of a guitar, and occasionally getting swatted at. In addition to featuring everyday folks around her native Los Angeles, the video also stars Bridgers as she goes about her daily life; at one point, she captures the fly in her hands, and at another, the fly follows her in the car as she drives through the night alongside her dog, Maxine.
