Yeah Yeah Yeahs have unveiled Hidden in Pieces Live at the Royal Albert Hall, a live album out digitally today. A 22-minute concert film, directed by Barnaby Clay, is also streaming now via the Criterion Channel. That was recorded at Los Angeles’ Orpheum Theatre and will screen in a handful of theaters around the world this month. A physical album, out October 23 via Secretly Canadian, will include today’s 13-track live album as well as a handful of bonus recordings from U.S. shows, which will come to streaming the same day.Karen O said in a press release that the album “was born out of a need to commune with our band and fan family in 2025, after the election.” She went on, “In the past, YYYs haven’t often chosen when to be back at it and out there, it often chooses us. It, being the times.”The band worked on the live arrangements during a brief spell at Sonic Ranch, Texas, she added.
