Weezer are hitting the road this fall on “Weezer: The Gathering,” a 32-date North American arena tour with The Shins and Silversun Pickups along for support. The trek lands right alongside the release of the band’s 16th studio album, the self-titled Weezer (aka The Gold Album) — their rawest, most collaborative record in years, built around all four members writing together in the same room for the first time since their 1994 debut. The tour kicks off September 8th in Sacramento and works its way through San Francisco, Denver, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, New York, Nashville, Austin, and more before wrapping in the band’s hometown of Los Angeles on October 24th.
