Community-driven dance music festival We Belong Here will bring a three-day experience to New Orleans’ Woldenburg Riverfront Park along the Mississippi River on November 13-15.
We Belong Here is officially headed to New Orleans. The community-driven festival brand—known for its circular stage design, purple-neon aesthetic, and carefully curated lineups — has announced a three-day debut at Woldenberg Riverfront Park on November 13-15. The expansion signifies We Belong Here’s first edition outside of its established Florida and New York footprint, landing in one of America’s most storied music cities.
Situated along the Mississippi River, with the French Quarter as its backdrop, Woldenberg Riverfront Park provides the festival with an open-air, waterfront canvas that aligns with the brand’s emphasis on space, comfort, and flow. The New Orleans edition will feature multiple stages with a mix of globally touring and local artists, alongside the elevated production and thoughtful site design that are hallmarks of the We Belong Here experience.
“New Orleans is not only a musical epicenter, it’s a true cultural melting pot and a highly requested city from our community, all of which makes it a perfect home for a new We Belong Here experience,” said Justin Dauman, co-founder of We Belong Here. “Its heritage as the birthplace of Jazz is interconnected with playing a massive role in popularizing house and rave culture in the South.”
The New Orleans expansion feels like a natural next step for the forward-thinking collective. In addition, We Belong Here plans to partner with local community and environmental organizations on initiatives related to music education and riverfront stewardship.
Since launching in Miami in 2021, We Belong Here has expanded steadily across Florida, with sold-out editions in Tampa Bay and a Palm Beach debut last December, and New York, where they host a Governors Island summer series and a three-day festival in Brooklyn. As it’s grown, We Belong Here has cultivated a fiercely loyal returning audience that is expected to follow the brand to its new destination in Louisiana.
Lineup details and ticket information have not yet been announced. Fans can sign up for early access and updates on We Belong Here’s official website.
