Watch Hungarian singer join Bring Me the Horizon for brutal ‘Pray For Plagues’ at Sziget Festival 2026

In partnership with Sziget Festival Hungarian singer Barni Kókai, frontman of Budapest-based deathcore band The Southern Oracle, joined Bring Me The Horizon to perform ‘Pray For Plagues’ at Sziget Festival last night (August 14). Watch the video below. The moment occurred two-thirds of the way through the Sheffield band’s headline set on the Budapest festival’s main stage. The highly conceptual show featured an avatar called Eve, who warned of an impending apocalypse. At one point, Eve asked for a volunteer from the audience to assist the group, explaining that the fate of humanity “rests in this human’s hands”. Frontman Oli Sykes then searched for said volunteer, before spotting Kókai, who was moving towards the front of the crowd. Sykes suggested that Kókai was the person for the job, given that “he’s already halfway here”. It’s unclear if Sykes knew that Kókai himself is the frontman of a metal band. Kókai then took to the stage, delivering an impressive run-through of Bring Me the Horizon’s 2006 deathcore track ‘Pray For Plagues’, which opened their 2006 debut album ‘Count Your Blessings’.
