A member of Tupac Shakur‘s entourage dodged questions about those allegedly responsible for the rapper’s death during the second day of the ongoing murder trial.Yesterday (Tuesday August 17), James “Mob James” McDonald took issue with being made to take the stand and identify those responsible for Shakur’s death.As BBC News reports, McDonald said he was threatened with being held in contempt of court if he did not testify.McDonald was asked repeatedly if he could identify the individuals involved in the late rapper’s death. Pointing to Davis, he reportedly responded: “You’re asking me something that wouldn’t be good for him.”Davis is a former leader of the South Side Compton Crips street gang, while McDonald is an ex-member of rival gang Mob Piru – which is part of the larger Bloods alliance. McDonald also worked for Suge Knight’s Death Row Records label, whose roster included Shakur.In court yesterday, he repeatedly faced questions from Davis’ defence attorney, Michael Sanft, about whether he saw the drive-by shooting, and if he knew who was there at the time.
