Troye Sivan Announces New Album She’s the Best, Shares Title Track: Stream

Troye Sivan has announced his fourth album, She’s the Best, out on October 9th. He’s also revealed the album’s title track, along with a music video starring fellow Aussie Nicole Kidman. She’s the Best follows Sivan’s acclaimed 2023 LP Something to Give Each Other and serves as his first release since signing to Interscope. Pre-orders are ongoing. “She’s the Best” is the album’s first offering, and it finds Sivan paying tribute to the ladies, the queens, and all femme-identifying people; he helmed the track with regular collaborators Leland and Styalz Fuego, plus Jack Antonoff and The 1975’s George Daniel. It’s a bit of a stylistic switch-up from his prior work, employing a trip-hop beat, warm, distorted guitar, record scratches, spoken word vocals, and a general late ’90s vibe. The song also arrives with a great music video directed by Gordon von Steiner, who also directed the videos for prior songs “Rush,” “Got Me Started,” and more.
