Tributes have been paid as police confirm that the woman who died at Houghton Festival in Norfolk was Ibiza DJ Santanna Oush. Earlier this month it was revealed that police were investigating the death of a woman who was found dead in her tent at the 2026 event. Her identity was not shared at the time, but it was confirmed that she was found unconscious in a tent on a campsite on the last day of the festival. She was pronounced dead at the scene on Sunday (August 9), despite efforts by on-site personnel to save her. Police said they do not believe there were any suspicious circumstances, and in a statement shared on the festival’s Instagram page, organisers said they were “deeply saddened to confirm that a person has passed away at Houghton 2026”. “Our thoughts are entirely with their family and loved ones at this difficult time.
