The Tallest Man on Earth Announces New Album Just Beyond Endless Mountain, Unveils “Deliver Me from Trying”: Stream

Kristian Matsson, aka The Tallest Man on Earth, has announced his eighth studio album, Just Beyond Endless Mountain, out October 9th via ANTI-. To stir anticipation, the folk singer-songwriter has shared the project’s lead single, “Deliver Me from Trying.” Stream it below. Following Matsson’s return to his native Dalarna in central Sweden a few years ago, Just Beyond Endless Mountain draws from the traditional music he grew up with. In a departure from the American folk tradition to which his name is typically attached, its 11 songs draw from Swedish polksas and other sounds that raised him.
