Slayyyter Debuts Four New Songs At St. Louis Tour Opener

WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA, Slayyyter's awesomely fried level-up LP, is Stereogum's favorite album of 2026 thus far, and it has brought Slayyyter an unprecedented level of hype. Slayyyter's just started off an extremely sold-out headlining tour, and she's also got some big festival gigs and a few other things coming up. (I am jealous of everyone who gets to see Slayyyter and Die Spitz open for Turnstile in Lawrence, Kansas in October.) At those headlining shows, Slayyyer is performing new songs.On Sunday night, Slayyyter played the first set of her tour behind WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA, kicking off a three-night stand at the Pageant in her St. Louis hometown. According to Setlist.fm, Slayyyter's show included the live debuts of four different songs. One of them is called "BRAND NEW CHANEL$." On Instagram, Slayyyyter posted a high-quality video of that performance and announced that the song is coming out on Friday.
