Six crew workers at an Ed Sheeran concert in Detroit have been taken to hospital after being hit by a piece of stage equipment. Fire department dispatch audio revealed crews were sent to the stadium around 11pm local time for what was described as a “forklift injury accident”, according to Click On Detroit. The workers were believed to be near a ramp in a vehicle tunnel when the equipment lost control and hit several of them, just as they were walking away to go on break. Six crew members were reportedly taken to the hospital, though none of them suffered life-threatening injuries. One of them was kept in the hospital overnight. Two patients were reportedly in a serious condition and four were in stable condition.
