Sharon Osbourne is defending the recently announced Ozzy Osbourne digital AI avatar after receiving some backlash, insisting it’s not a “money grab.” The digital avatar project, which is still in production, has already been the source of controversy and speculation, prompting previous responses from Sharon and Jack Osbourne, including the latter saying, “It’s not gonna be fucking lame”. In a new interview with Metal Hammer, Sharon said, “I’ve seen such shit online about it being a ‘money grab.’ Why would I need to do that? It’s not as if I’m using Ozzy to sell fucking weedkiller or beer. Ozzy loved the idea.
