Fans in Glasgow have begun leaving cans of the Scottish drink Irn-Bru on the set of The Batman Part II, which is filming in the city. Bothwell Street has been transformed into Gotham City, with passers-by being able to get a glimpse of production during the day when the crew are not shooting. In addition to getting pictures of the transformed area, locals have been trying to sneak in cans of Irn-Bru to add a Scottish Easter egg into the movie. The Sun reported that on-set security had begun searching bins and hot dog stands for the drink, which has a distinct orange design, given the regularity of people trying to leave them there. Irn-Bru is produced in Scotland and has been the country’s best-selling drink for over a century, out-selling fellow soft drinks such as Coca-Cola.
