Hard techno it-girl Sara Landry will be dropping her second album, Divine Intervention, via her label, HEKATE Records. Greek mythology is having a moment this summer with the Odyssey and Hadestown in theaters, but now, Sara Landry is tapping in on the fun. The self-proclaimed high priestess of hard techno — a title traditionally associated with female religious leaders who served as intermediaries between mortals and the divine — just announced that her sophomore album, Divine Intervention, is coming out on October 16 via her artist imprint, HEKATE Records. Named after the Greek goddess of magic and witchcraft, crossroads, and the night, HEKATE has long served as the home for the producer’s creative vision. This makes it a fitting home for an album steeped in divine imagery. Its title mirrors the darker, more hypnotic qualities of Landry’s sound, which immerses listeners in her sonic world and transforms the dancefloor into a ritual ground.
