Pixies Announce Return to Argentina, Where They Once Marveled at Fans Singing Along to “Every Single Song”

Pixies are returning to Argentina for a newly announced show at Buenos Aires’ Movistar Arena on April 4th, 2027, marking their first performance in the country in five years. The band first performed in Argentina at the city’s historic Luna Park in 2010. When they returned to the country four years later, drummer David Lovering recalled the response they received during that debut. Find Pixies Tickets Here “It was incredible, and we still talk about it with Joey and Frank,” Lovering told a local newspaper ahead of Pixies’ appearance at Lollapalooza Argentina in 2014, adding that fans singing along to “every single song” made for “one of the great moments of that tour.” The band’s most recent visit to the country was in 2022, when they performed as part of the Road to Primavera Sound. The Buenos Aires date follows an extensive year of touring for Pixies, including a 2026 US run celebrating the band’s 40th anniversary, as well as shows across Asia, the UK, and Europe.
