Phoebe Bridgers is sending fans to the stars for the release of her new album, Lost Weekend, with a series of immersive listening events at planetariums around the world. Beginning Monday, August 10th, participating planetariums will host advance playbacks of the album ahead of its official release on Friday, August 14th via Dead Oceans. Each phone-free session will pair Lost Weekend with one of two visual presentations: a custom dome show designed by night-sky photographer Babak Tafreshi or an immersive laser show created by Laser Fantasy. Participating venues include Chicago’s Adler Planetarium, San Francisco’s Morrison Planetarium, Paris’ Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie, and Melbourne Planetarium.
