New ‘Grand Theft Auto 6’ footage and gameplay map has reportedly leaked

Grand Theft Auto 6 has reportedly been hit with another leak, just over a week ahead of its Extended Look drop. The leak, which may or may not be legitimate, purports to show one of the game’s protagonists, Jason, enjoying life at his ocean view home – he gets to shoot a few basketball hoops, and there’s gym equipment on his balcony. Another clip shows Jason behind the wheel of a car, attacking an NPC. Perhaps most notably of all, the leak also seems to include a complete map of Leonida, GTA‘s fictional home which is modelled on Florida. The footage has been shared widely on social media. The apparent leak comes shortly before an Extended Look at the game is due to premiere on Netflix at 8pm on August 27. Though the Extended Look will be released more widely at 2am the following morning, Rockstar Games’ decision to lock it behind a streaming paywall to begin with has angered some GTA fans. ‘Grand Theft Auto 6: The Ultimate Edition’.
