It marks 25 years since the release of their cult debut album ‘Finelines’, which was awarded three stars from NME at the time, and hailed by our readers as an “album perfect from start to finish“. They’ll take to the stage on Thursday December 10, with InMe and Yourcodenameis:milo joining as support acts. Tickets go on sale on Monday (August 24), and you’ll be able to get them here. ‘Finelines’ has been credited as the first Nugaze album, with the term initially coined jokingly by frontman Som Wardner. A year after the album’s release, My Vitriol went on hiatus in 2002, before briefly reuniting in 2005 for a show at the O2 Academy Islington.
