Mexican disco-funk band Midnight Generation have shared the video for their new single “Almost My Own,” pairing their Daft Punk-influenced sound with a retro take on domestic life. The clip opens with the Chihuahua-born five-piece performing everyday chores and activities, including ironing, reading the newspaper on the lawn, and hanging socks on a clothesline. The domestic scenes eventually give way to an outdoor performance by a lake.
