Matt Cameron: Soundgarden’s Final Album Is Being Mixed

Drummer Matt Cameron has revealed that Soundgarden‘s final album is currently being mixed. The eight-song LP contains vocals recorded by late singer Chris Cornell before his 2017 passing. Cameron discussed the album’s status with Dean Delray on the Let There Be Talk podcast, noting that it’s being mixed by Joe Barresi, who did the same for the band’s last album, 2012’s King Animal. I think that that’s pretty much all there is with vocals. We had some instrumentals left over that [guitarist] Kim [Thayil] wants work on.
