‘Marvel’s Wolverine’ execs are not happy about “relentless” criticism the game has been getting

A key player at Insomniac Games has responded to the “relentless” online “negativity” surrounding its upcoming title, Marvel’s Wolverine. James Stevenson, Insomniac’s director of community and marketing, wrote on X: “I think the wild way this algorithm amplifies and forces negativity upon you has me reconsidering my philosophy on telling devs to look or post here. It’s a relentless onslaught that I cannot believe is good for anyone’s mental health nor representative.” Marvel’s Wolverine is due for release for PlayStation 5 on September 15, but trailers and gameplay teasers have been widely pilloried on social media.
