Liam Gallagher bluntly responds to Oasis Glastonbury 2027 headline rumours

Playing Glastonbury – a prospect Liam Gallagher once compared to performing to “a load of jamboree teachers” – doesn’t seem to be on the cards for Oasis next year. Over the weekend, it emerged that the Britpop legends were the bookies favourites to headline the Worthy Farm festival at 4/1, and Liam has been on a tear up on Twitter/X ever since, taking aim at the “croc wearing flag waving shit c*nts” convinced they’re on the bill next year, bluntly saying: “It’s not happening.” Replying to a fan who asked him what he dreamed about, he doubled down, saying: “I had a dream we was playing Glastonbury and the croc brigade stormed the stage and started whipping me to death with their flags took me ages to get settled”.
