Law Roach Addresses Louis Vuitton Seating Controversy: ‘I Am the Serena Williams of Styling’

2 weeks ago 8

Law Roach is setting the record straight about the viral Louis Vuitton fashion show moment involving Zendaya. During today’s episode of Radio Andy’s “Bevelations” with Bevy Smith, the celebrity stylist said the seating situation at Louis Vuitton was widely misunderstood online.

According to Law, the issue wasn’t that he lacked a front-row seat, it was that organizers initially directed him to sit behind Zendaya in a seat reserved for her assistant before finding him another front-row seat.

“The internet has a way of contorting things,” Law said.

He also responded to criticism that he sees himself as “the talent,” arguing that his success has made him one of the most recognizable stylists in the world.

“I am the Zendaya of my industry,” he said. “I am the Serena Williams of styling.”

Additionally, Law shared the story behind purchasing André Leon Talley’s custom Christian Dior Haute Couture coat after years of hoping to add the iconic piece to his archive.

SiriusXM’s “Bevelations” hosted by Bevy Smith is a pop culture and entertainment show on Radio Andy (Ch. 102) and is available anytime on the SiriusXM app.
