Kit Connor Cast as New Cyclops in the MCU X-Men: Report

Professor X’s mansion is getting more full by the minute: Deadline reports that Kit Connor is being considered for the role of Scott Summers, aka Cyclops, in the upcoming MCU X-Men reboot. He’ll join the very confirmed Sadie Sink as well as the rumored Samara Weaving in director Jake Schreier’s new take.

Cyclops, previously played by James Marsden and Tye Sheridan, serves often as a leader to the X-Men team, with the mutant ability to shoot powerful energy blasts through his eyes. Connor began acting at a young age, but became internationally known for his starring work in the Netflix series Heartstopper.
