Kanye West Adds Russia to Comeback Tour

Kanye West is set to bring his ongoing comeback tour to Russia with a pair of concerts in St. Petersburg this fall. The rapper and producer will perform at the 70,000-capacity Gazprom Arena on October 10th and 11th, according to an announcement from the venue. Tickets for both shows are now available to purchas, with prices currently ranging from 15,000 ₽ ($176) to 225,000 ₽ ($2,650). Lawmaker Nikolay Novichkov has said that foreign artists who wish to perform in Russia must first publicly express support for its war against Ukraine. “They want to make money,” Novichkov told Ostorozhno Novosti. “If they want to make money, they need to understand that the country is in a special military operation and needs moral support from cultural figures, provided they view themselves as such.
