The latest season of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? kicked off this week with the first-ever father-daughter pairing in the show’s history, featuring Larry David and his daughter Cazzie David. Thanks to his appearance, we learned a little more about the endlessly curious life of Larry David, including that he has apparently never eaten sugary cereal and was unaware that Lucky Charms contains marshmallows (“I thought [they] were just colorful pieces”). He also seemed unfamiliar with any of the current pop girlies named Sabrina, Addison, Olivia, or Gracie. Larry did show his knowledge in the areas about Deleware’s post-election day rituals, stamp collecting, and Mediterranean cuisine. In the end, however, Larry and Cazzie’s downfall came with a $64,000 question about India’s prized trading resource in the 18th century. They opted to phone a friend — Jon Hamm, “who can do the New York Times crossword puzzle in 10 minutes” — but the Mad Men actor very confidently provided the duo with the wrong answer.
