Headrush is currently set for an October release and is described as a love letter to nightlife and the nightclubs where Jeshi discovered dance music "before I even had an ID that could get me in." Expanding on the rap-meets-dance project, new track "linea rossa" — made in collaboration with London-based experimental producer and multi-instrumentalist Cameo Blush — arrives today, following previous singles "champagne", "at the wheel". "I'd go from Walthamstow to Essex and it felt like I'd been teleported into another world," he explains. "The over-the-topness of the clubs felt so exciting to my 17-year-old brain. There was a freedom then where you didn't need to know the right records or be part of the right scene." "Dance music has always been one of my biggest inspirations but I always felt like an outsider to that world," Jeshi explains. "I was DJing at friends' parties a lot but wanted to bridge these two loves of mine and create a space between them. To make songs and put my life into them the same way I always had, but then be able to play them out straight away in rooms full of people."
