All three LPs will appear on double gatefold vinyl. Made In The Dark gets its first-ever vinyl pressing, while the new edition of The Warning carries the colour artwork for the first time. Digitally, each record comes bundled with a second disc of B-sides and rarities, several of which were previously unavailable on DSPs. “Bally” is out now, a sparse, melancholic number built around soft hand claps and gentle melodica, with Alexis Taylor’s vocal pushed to the centre. Originally a bonus 7″ when The Warning landed in 2006, the song has been offline ever since.
The reissues map a swift creative arc. The Warning turns 20 this year. A refusal to conform ran through Made In The Dark and the more expansive One Life Stand, records that pulled indie audiences onto the dancefloor.
The new season of Netflix’s BEEF features “Ready For The Floor” and “Over And Over” – Oscar Isaac joins the latter on a Minimoog – while “Boy From School” was recently the subject of a Song Exploder episode. Meanwhile, the 2025 compilation Joy In Repetition mirrors the setlist of their sold-out Best Of tour.
