Hayden Christensen has expressed a desire to make more live-action Star Wars with fellow prequel stars Natalie Portman and Ewan McGregor, possibly set during the Clone Wars. The three actors played the central trio of Anakin Skywalker, Padme Amidala and Obi-Wan Kenobi in the prequel films, with Christensen and McGregor since returning to the franchise in TV show Obi-Wan Kenobi, as well as series Ahsoka for the former. Christensen will once again be back in the upcoming second season of Ahsoka, and was asked what he can tease during an interview on the Hey Jonas podcast. “What I’ve had a lot of fun with is getting to play the character during the Clone Wars timeline, which they did in the animated world,” he said. “And that’s a lot of fun just because it’s a different side of the character.” When Kevin Jonas asked whether fans could ever see a “straight up Anakin show”, Christensen then teased the possibility of it happening. “I know that Ewan McGregor would love to do more with it.
