Hades 2 and a string of other titles have been confirmed for Xbox Game Pass.

Last night (March 26) Microsoft hosted an official first partner showcase, with studios revealing a number of new games heading to Xbox Game Pass in the next few weeks.

Hades 2 was one of the best-reviewed games of last year but, until now, was only available on PC and Nintendo Switch. That’s set to change next month though. On April 14, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S owners will be able to play the hit roguelike action role-playing game. It will also be available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers the same day.

“The version coming to Xbox includes all the post-launch patches released for other platforms, including additional quality-of-life improvements and some bonus content, making this the most complete version of the game yet,” said Microsoft in a blog post.

HADES II is coming to @Xbox Series X|S and @PlayStation on April 14!🌖

It'll be on @XboxGamePass that same day.

It’s already been confirmed that Xbox Game Pass subscribers will get access to Kiln (spring), Forza Horizon 6 (May 19), Beast Of Reincarnation (summer) and Fable (autumn) later this year.

Earlier this week, it was reported that newly appointed Xbox boss Asha Sharma wants to make Xbox Game Pass more affordable following last year’s massive price hike. She spoke to a number of individuals at the Game Developers Conference about the future of Xbox, who claimed that she wants to “make future consoles and products like Game Pass more enticing to a broader range of customers,” and is looking at “revamping pricing models to offer lower-priced tiers.”
