Gojira’s Christian Andreu has partnered with Jackson to release a new signature guitar, the Pro Plus Signature Rhoads RR24 EVTN6.
The guitar combines the iconic Randy Rhoads modified V guitar shape with a black-with-white-bevel design to cut a striking image. The guitar comes in alder and sports three-piece neck-through build with graphite reinforcement. It has a 12″-16″ compound radius fretboard made out of ebony, a 25.5″ scale length and a reverse Jackson headstock.

As for its sonic elements, the guitar sports an EverTune F6 bridge as well as locking tuners, guaranteeing it will functionally stay in tune forever, as well as a single direct mounted bridge Fishman Fluence OpenCore pickup with a three-way toggle for its different voicings.
Andreu stated, “It started as love at first sight when I was 15, seeing the legendary Kirk Hammett wield this iconic shape. It was the most metal thing I’d ever seen, and I was hooked.”
He added, “It’s also an honor to represent the first‑ever RR model equipped with an EverTune bridge! With an unbelievably smooth neck, perfect balance and effortless playability, this guitar feels like it was built for me.”
This is an instrument made specifically for sharpness and intensity with its gear and bridge placement choices. Eddie Van Halen famously played a guitar with a similar setup for the first eight Van Halen albums.
The the Pro Plus Signature Rhoads RR24 EVTN6 is priced at $2,429.99, and can be purchased via Reverb or the Jackson Guitars website. See a promo video and close-up images below.
