Hey, Ghostemane's back! The Florida SoundCloud-rap renegade emerged about a decade ago, and I was pretty fascinated with the ways that he incorporated, metal, hardcore, goth, and industrial into what he was doing, even before he got his rap name tattooed across his forehead. Ghostemane was once in a group with Lil Peep, and he's got collaborations with people like $uicideboy$, Clams Casino, and HEALTH on his resume. But Ghostemane hasn't released an album since 2020's Anti-Icon, and he has been entirely absent for at least a few years. Today, he returns with a new single. Ghostemane recorded "Zero Day" with the so-hot-right-now producer Kenneth Blume. Back when he was known as Kenny Beats, Blume worked with Ghostemane on the Anti-Icon track "Sacrilege," but "Zero Day" doesn't really sound anything like that. Also, the metal/hardcore musician and producer Arthur Rizk mixed "Zero Day."
