Geese honoured Dolly Parton and played ‘Disco’ live for the first time during their ongoing tour at two recent gigs in Glasgow. Watch below. READ MORE: Geese live in London: indie buzz band take flight as generational icons in waiting The band are currently on the road in the UK, and are due to perform at Reading Festival on Friday (August 28) and Leeds Festival the following day, before playing two headline shows at London’s Troxy on September 1 and 2. They will then headline the opening night of End Of The Road on September 3. On Tuesday (August 25) they took to the stage for the first of two shows in Glasgow just hours after the death of Dolly Parton was announced. To honour the country music icon, frontman Cameron Winter paused during their performance of ‘2122’ to play Parton’s 1977 hit ‘Here You Come Again’ from his phone into the microphone. Geese often incorporates covers while playing ‘2122’ live. Ahead of the moment, Winter said: “Rest in peace Dolly,” before bringing his phone up to his guitar.
