Now entering its ninth year, Decolonise Fest continues to platform artists of colour across punk and alternative music. This year will be the festival's biggest year to date, with Frozemode, Miki Berenyi, Third Kulture, Hang Linton, Silver Tabby and TM Distant joining the programme of previously announced artists Sacred Paws, Baby Said, Uninvited, Mashaal, eatboys. and Dygora. Since launching in 2017 within a grassroots space, Decolonise Fest has seen performances from artists including Nova Twins, Bob Vylan, Big Joanie, Whitelands, Master Peace, and more. This year will host twelve live acts alongside a programme of workshops, panel discussions and creative activities celebrating music, solidarity and collective action. “This is our ninth year running Decolonise Fest and we’re so excited to host another festival packed with an amazing representation of the genre-bending, forward-looking POC alternative music that is around today," says Decolonise Fest spokesperson Alex Ekong.
