Fontaines D.C. announce huge 2027 Slane Castle show in Ireland with Hayley Williams

Fontaines D.C. have announced a huge headline show at Slane Castle for 2027, featuring special guest Hayley Williams. The announcement follows Fontaines’ headline performances at Reading & Leeds and Electric Picnic over the weekend. At the latter show in County Laois last night (August 30), they teased the Slane show at the end of their set, when the phrase “Slane 2027” appeared on the stage screens. The concert will make Fontaines D.C. only the third Irish act to headline Slane Castle, following Thin Lizzy in 1981 and U2 in 2001. The amphitheatre has a concert capacity of 80,000 and has hosted some of the world’s biggest artists over the past 45 years. Other previous Slane headliners include The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Queen, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Guns N’ Roses, Oasis, Madonna, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Eminem and Harry Styles.
