The first rule of Fight Club is that you do not talk about Fight Club. But Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) didn’t say anything about posting about it! Or finally giving it the 4K Ultra HD Steelbook release it deserves. Or re-releasing it in theaters this spring.
First released in 1999, David Fincher’s ode to anarchy, adapted from the novel by Chuck Palahniuk, endures as a fascinating and controversial look at consumerism and identity. Starring Pitt, Edward Norton, Helena Bonham Carter, and Meat Loaf, Fight Club has become more appreciated with time, and the new 4K Ultra HD release, per the official release, will enhance “the film’s striking cinematography and immersive sound design for both longtime fans and first-time viewers.”
Fight Club will receive a one-night-only theatrical re-release on April 22nd, followed by the 4K Ultra HD Steelbook release on May 12th. Go to Amazon now to pre-order the Steelbook, or if you can’t wait to revisit the movie, the Blu-ray edition is available now, and you can also stream it via Amazon or Apple TV.
