Father John Misty unveils new song, "The Payoff"

"The Payoff" follows "The Old Law" released earlier last year as Father John Misty's first new singles since his 2024 album Mahashmashana. The track was written by Josh Tillman, arranged by Drew Erickson, and co-produced by Erickson and Tillman, with Michael Harris at Fivestar Studios on mixing and Adam Ayan on mastering.

Father John Misty has also extended his touring schedule for this year to include a date at London’s O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on 12 June, following the rescheduling of LIDO Festival.
