According to Women’s Wear Daily, 2026 will mark the end of Wish ATL‘s 22-year run as thee sneaker spot in The A as hype and overall interest in sneaker collecting just isn’t what it used to be in years past. With people struggling to make ends meet and the price of everyday living continuing to skyrocket something ridiculous in today’s Trumpian age, the population are choosing priorities over pleasure and sneaker collecting just isn’t going to make the cut anymore.That being said, the writing’s been on the wall for quite some time as the secondary market for sneakers has been struggling over the last few years and hype beasts just don’t have an appetite for kicks like they used to.
