Echo & the Bunnymen have announced they are releasing a new album, Apples for Isaac, out September 18th. As a first preview, the UK rockers have shared the lead single, “Brussels Is Haunted.” Stream the new track below.
Apples for Isaac marks the Ian McCulloch-led group’s first studio album since 2014’s Meteorites. Almost every track on the LP features late Blondie drummer Clem Burke, who passed away during its recording. Pre-orders for Apples for Isaac are ongoing.

“The mighty, legendary Clem Burke — longtime friend of Mac — was integral to the making of this album and heartbreakingly passed away during its completion,” Echo & the Bunnymen shared on social media. “Love you, Clem.”
“Brussels Is Haunted” shows Echo & the Bunnymen are still flying high nearly five decades into their career, with McCulloch’s vocals sounding strong over choppy guitars.
Echo & the Bunnymen are coming off a spring North American tour and will likely return to the US to support the new album sooner rather than later.
