Down Announce Summer 2026 North American Tour with Helmet

Down have announced a Summer 2026 tour North American tour with support from Helmet and Spirit in the Room.

The outing, dubbed the “Strap It Down” tour, kicks off in Atlanta on August 15th, passing through Pittsburgh, Toronto, Cincinnati, and other cities before closing out in Chicago on September 2nd.

An artist presale for the tour is underway using the code DOWN2026 via Ticketmaster, with a general on-beginning Friday, May 29th, at 10 a.m. local time

Following the headlining run, the Philip Anselmo-led band will support Slayer during one of their Reign in Blood 40th anniversary shows in Shakopee, Minnesota, as well as make appearances at Zakk Wylde’s Berzerkus festival, Aftershock, Sick New World, and Decibel Metal & Beer Fest.

The tour comes partly in support of the remastered reissue of their 2007 album Down III: Over the Under, out June 19th in celebration of nearly 20 years of the band’s landmark third album. This reissue includes the first time the album will be available in vinyl format in the US market. Pre-orders are available here.
