Mick Gordon, the composer of the iconic Doom reboot score, has been announced as the first headliner of Manchester’s RADAR Festival next year. He’s now been announced to headline the “genre-busting” RADAR Festival in Manchester next summer, where he’ll debut a “world-first” show that’ll feature the music of Doom. “Mick Gordon is the composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and acclaimed sound designer who turned Doom‘s soundtrack into one of the most instantly recognisable pieces of gaming music ever produced,” reads a press release. “At RADAR 2027, Mick will bring the Doom soundtrack to the stage for the first time, featuring the Doom Machine (his custom Doom instrument), with a full live band and an orchestra for good measure.” “This isn’t a DJ set, and it isn’t a tribute act.
