David Byrne announces Brady Corbet-directed concert film

The film was captured over multiple nights at the Hippodrome in Byrne’s hometown of Baltimore, preserving a snippet of the tour that he has played at over 150 shows across four continents in support of his 2025 album, Who Is The Sky?. The film sees Byrne team up with Corbett, known for his work on The Brutalist, to capture the footage on 70mm film. It’s produced by The Deep End Films and Pre-Code, Corbet’s company along with Mona Fastvold, and is presented by River Road Entertainment. “When Brady told me he wanted to shoot our show in 70 millimeter (70 millimeter!) I didn't realize what a difference it would make until I saw some frames he sent me,” Byrne says. “He was right, it really does capture the wide screen visual scope of the show.
