Chrome Sparks – “Sleeper” (Feat. Khalid & Jónsi)

Here's a new one from the department of random combinations. Jeremy Malvin, the multi-instrumentalist known as Chrome Sparks, announced his new album Ball Of Light today. "Sleeper," the opening track and lead single brings together pop-R&B singer Khalid and Sigur Rós frontman Jónsi. Yes, the voice behind "Talk," "Eastside," and other grocery store staples has joined forces with the inventor of the Hopelandic language to create airy electronic post-rock. The song really does find a middle ground between their sonic worlds, so well done, Malvin.Chrome Sparks recently contributed production to albums like Slayyyter’s WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA and Lily Allen’s West End Girl. "Over the last seven years, I’ve focused mostly on collaborations and other artists’ projects," he says. "Ball Of Light is me finding myself again."
