Cameron Winter and Paul Thomas Anderson reveal plans for Carnegie Hall concert film

The announcement of the film follows news of the accompanying live album revealed last week, which was was recorded and produced for by Ariel Rechtshaid, who has worked with the likes of Adele and Vampire Weekend. During Winter's solo performance, Anderson was spotted capturing footage onstage, leaving fans waiting in anticipation for details. The film was shot on on 35mm and 16mm film, and co-produced by filmmaker and actor Benny Safdie (Marty Supreme, Uncut Gems) — one of the renowned Safdie Brothers — who was also spotted at the show. Production was also handled by Sara Murphy, Erica Frauman and Maggie Ambrose. The film is set to hit theatres in North America with an exclusive 35mm tour beginning in November in New York, with further dates in Los Angeles, Washington DC, San Francisco, Atlanta, Nasheville and more at select theatres. Tickets for the announced tour dates are set to go on sale on 17 September, with more cities to be announced in the coming weeks. The previously announced live album has confirmed performances of songs from Winter's debut album Heavy Metal, as well as singles and three unreleased tracks.
