breakkaway sign to Epitaph and share new single, “Portrait set on fire”

"Portrait set on fire", produced by breakkaway, George Lever, and Nathan Smart, arrives as their newest single, following previous releases “I’ll See You When the Night Comes”, “Outside”, and “Secret”. The track also arrives alongside a visual by Josh Ang and Wetmochii.

breakkaway was formed in 2022 by musicians Jessica Li, Case Fadell, Romain Dammann, Jorge Gonzalez Diez Gutierrez, Toji Kimura and Ethan Chan, who hail from China, Mexico, France and the United States. As the latest signees to Epitaph, they join the likes of Joyce Manor, Mannequin Pussy, and more, showcasing a mix of influences including hyperpop, indie folk and nu metalcore.
