Breakaway Utah Reveals House-Dominated Lineup for Debut Edition

John Summit, Kaskade, Max Styler, Chris Lake, Tiësto, Audien, and more will head to Salt Lake City in October for the debut edition of Breakaway Utah.

Breakaway Music Festival has continued to tour the US with vibrant editions that have brought everything from house and techno to dubstep and more. This year has seen some of the tried-and-true stops kick back into full gear, but they’ve also looked to new locations, like Salt Lake City, to further their expansion efforts. On October 2-3, Breakaway Utah will make its official debut as the newest edition of the festival, taking over America’s First Field for a weekend that’s sure to be filled with unreal vibes.

While many editions of the festival have dropped bass-heavy lineups in recent years, Breakaway Utah is flipping the script and focusing mainly on house music. Immediate standouts for the debut edition include heavy-hitters in the house scene right now, such as John Summit, Kaskade, Chris Lake, Max Styler, and Kasablanca. There’s also a back-to-back featuring Gorgon City and MPH, as well as solo sets from rising phenoms Jackie Hollander, Roddy Lima, and Soraya.

Mainstage energy will be in full force when acts like Tiësto, Audien, and Trivecta take the stage. Meanwhile, those looking for their fix of bass music won’t want to sleep on the sets from Ray Volpe, HEYZ, and the back-to-back featuring LAYZ and TYNAN. Rounding out the lineup are two local acts, Branden Estrada and OBAŸASHI, who will help represent the Salt Lake City community in style.

Attendees can expect even more during their time at Breakaway Utah, as presenting sponsor CELSIUS will be hosting interactive fan experiences and product sampling at the festival.
